My band needs to get several things to improve the quality of our music
We need :
: Sound Board/mixer :
: GREAT quality Microphone :
: Good synthesizer (preferably Roland V synth) :
: Drum Set ( preferably electric)
We have the skill and ideas, but the only thing is that
our recording equipment sucks.
our band member ages are 13 - 15. So we don't have enough money and we can't get jobs because we're to young.
That's the only thing that's holding us back. Our money issues.
The sound board/mixer is like $200 right there, for a good price
plus the microphone is another $100. We also need a drum set. Another $300 added up there. And then come the synthesizers... oh boy... well, we WANT a Roland V Synth GT, but those are around $3000!!! SO we might settle for a just basic synthesizer around $800.
But even still, that adds up to $1,400!
How are we supposed to get $1,400?
We're only teens. But we WANT this! This is what we've always wanted. to pursue our musical talents! HOW do we get the money for the equipment though?
PLEASE help us. I mean, not donating help us, but like give us some tips on $

I don't have any fancy equipment, just a guitar and a computer with a microphone. Will Audacity work or is there another better program for recording music on my computer (preferably free like Audacity)?

I don't want to create my own music, just making mixes of songs that I already have for like parties and stuff like that. I've heard that DJ equipment is very expensive so for now i will have to settle for the just the software.

I've been having bad luck trying to find a good music producer for the longest in the Chicago area. I even ran into a "producer" that didn't know how to start a music track!
What are some things I should ask before going to the studio to look at the equipment?
For people with experience in the Music Industry, please list your years of experience. Thanks!

Should I invest in a BC Rich as my first electric guitar, or maybe an ESP?
If anyone could recommend a good guitar that isn't too expensive, (It has to be under $450.) I would appreciate it.
I already own an acoustic guitar, but the closest I can get to playing metal with it is just tuning it to Drop D.
