I have just paid £115 for 30 "used" records from a guy in New York = USA.As they will be in one parcel will it be subject to import duty?.I cannot find the info on the hm customs site.
I ask because i once ended up with a £70 bill when i paid £500 for a "used electronic musical" instrument from the USA.

Stepping into my Room looks like the server room of cable provider
I have about 6-8 power bricks (adapters)
about 4 headphones ( phone/ in ear, over the ear.. )
about 5-6 usb devices with usb cables and a 5.1 surround system with bunch of wires leading to inputs and speakers.
all this in a small home - work/den setup
how do i organise without spending much time untangling and concealing the wire mess.
the setup is not living room .. to connect and forget.. like the back of Tv, I keep connection and disconnecting stuff..

My desktop pc in the study on the main floor, and my exercise equipment is in the basement. Now I usally transfer songs from my pc onto my mp3 player and use my tiny speakers to listen to the music. However, is there any way to be able to listen to the music from my pc directly without having to transfer it? Like, maybe speakers with a super long cord? Or bluetooth enabled speakers? Any suggestions?

I have had problems streaming over the net with WinAmp and the shoutcast plug in, so I am wondering if there is a way, or a program that allows me to stream music (internet radio) over the internet. I have all the equipment, I just don't know if it is possible to do in wmp. If it is not possible, what other quality programs exist that would allow me to broadcast over the net?

I am listening online to a radio station in another country, and I would like to record the music that they play. How do I do this? What equipment and/or programs do I need?
Is this legal? I don't want to break any laws.
I am technologically challenged, so if you can describe this in as basic a way as possible, I would appreciate it.
Thank you!

My wife is interested in an Ipod or something similar for listening to while walking or exercising. I saw somewhere that the Ipod was not compatible with the Yahoo music service? Is this correct? Do I need to be looking at a different piece of equipment to download to?

I have many old cassette tapes that I would like to transfer onto a cd to enable me to still enjoy them now. Does anyone know of any equipment or program that does this? I know that music can be transferred from vinyl etc., but have not seen anything for tapes.
